CQ Series ISO Standard Compact Cylinder
CQ Series ISO standard compact cylinders have a piston rod configuration (as opposed to rodless cylinders). The piston rod cylinder has two functions: double acting and single-acting. The double-acting cylinder uses compressed air to power the extension and retracts the stroke (moving the rod back and forth). This arrangement makes double-acting cylinders ideal for push-pull loads.
CQ Series ISO standard compact cylinder also has a spring return and extend the system. Spring elongation means that air pressure causes the rod to retract, while spring force causes the rod to extend when the pressure is removed. This makes the single-acting cylinder ideal for situations where force is required in only one direction and the return stroke is unhindered and load free. These are also popular in areas where, for safety reasons, a prescribed position must be taken in the event of a power failure.
General cylinder functions are virtually endless. Here are a few examples of common cylinder applications.
1. Open and close the gate on the knife gate valve.
2. Allow animation of motion and motion in the electronics industry.
3. Transfer cargo to the delivery system.
