What are the safety devices when using free mount cylinder?

When using free mount cylinders in the industrial field, safety protection devices are crucial to effectively protect operators and equipment and prevent accidents.

In order to ensure the safety of the working environment, the following safety protection devices are required:

1. Protective cover: used to cover the piston rod and other moving parts of the free mount cylinder to prevent operators from accidentally touching or accidentally contacting. The protective cover is usually made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials, with good transparency, which is convenient for clearly observing the operating status of the cylinder.

2. Safety switch: A device that monitors the movement status of the free mount cylinder and can detect the position and operation of the cylinder in time. Once abnormal movement or exceeding the set range is detected, the safety switch will issue an alarm signal to remind the operator to take measures to avoid accidents.

3. Guardrails and fences: Set up at industrial production sites to restrict personnel from entering dangerous areas and avoid approaching free mount cylinders. Guardrails and fences are usually made of solid metal materials, with good stability and durability, effectively preventing operators from mistakenly entering dangerous areas.

4. Safety signs: Clear and visible safety signs are set around the free mount cylinder, including warning signs, prohibition signs, operating instructions, etc., to remind operators to pay attention to safety matters and avoid accidents.

5. Emergency stop device: It is set on or near the operating table to stop the free mount cylinder movement in an emergency. Once an emergency occurs, the operator can immediately press the emergency stop button to quickly stop the movement of the cylinder to avoid the expansion of the accident.

6. Safety relay: An electrical device that monitors the operating status of the free mount cylinder and can detect the electrical signal and movement status of the cylinder in time. Once an abnormal situation is found, the safety relay will automatically cut off the power supply to protect the safety of the equipment and operators.
